Publish Maps

Publication

Click on the Publish button to update the current site (e.g. Sandpit) with HTML versions of any new or modified Visio maps from the associated maps folder (e.g. Sandpit Maps). A new map is one that has not been published previously to this site. A modified map is one with a later timestamp than the current HTML version. The Publication Status section gives progress information (see Publication Progress Viewer).

Select the Refresh all published maps check box if you want to republish all Visio files, including those that have not changed since the last publish action. Triaster Support may direct you to do this, for example, after a software upgrade.

Select Update Hyperlinks Report Data if you want to create or refresh the Hyperlinks Report (see Hyperlinks Report).

When the publication has completed the maps will be visible on the website.

Publication Logs

Select Show publication logs to display a history of previous publications.

List of Publication Logs

To view more information about any item in the Publication Logs list, click on the Details link. This displays the Progress Log for the selected Publication Task on a new browser tab. Initially filtered to show only warnings encountered during the publication, you can also change the filter to show all messages by selecting Info and then clicking on the Refresh button.
